Life has been boring, exams still ongoing, was really depressed yesterday after my crappy Econometrics paper..so didn't touch any text after that, just slept my woes away. Called Lindy cause she was having a bad day too, both of us really can't for 9th July, for our Bangkok holiday..we all need a break, seriously. Too many stuff have been happening, mostly sad stuff, all I say is, I'm really looking forward to going home next Saturday. Can't wait to see my family, see my BFITWWWs, see my Puffy, Ashley and Monstie.. can't wait to watch movies (the last one I watched was in Feb), can't wait to just chillax! Sunday, March 23, 20089:00PM - HAPPY EASTER!A nice break at last.. with the housing woes behind me, study woes temporarily forgotten, went to the beach with Ariel and Allen to relax a bit.. The weather was beautiful, 27 degrees only, the waves were really kind of violent but was so fun when we got into the water and were bobbing up and down with the waves.. went to the Nudity Beach, saw er.. loads of "sausages".. haha.. cheap thrill of the day.. 8:31PM - NYXIE is going to STANFORD!Received one of the biggest news a few days back, NYXIE is going to STANFORD! She is one of my inspirations now.. haha.. SMART, PRETTY, ONE OF MY BEST BABES, I really don't know how she manages her fabulous life but to know that one of your best girlfriends will soon have her dream realised is one of the best news ever.. am so happy for her so this is dedicated to her--NYXIE, the goddess of the night, my BFITWW, one of my golden girls in this lifetime.. Tuesday, January 29, 20082:14PM - Withdrawal symptomsHeh, Xiang has been complaining that I don't really update my blog. But I think it's more like not being unable to find anything to blog about. Too lazy to upload photos too. I am more like a sporadic blogger than a regular one. Not much happenings except that I am bogged down by my accomodation woes and now i'm reduced to spending all my time outside work to look for a one pathetic house to stay in Perth. UWA campus is great, stunning medieval architecture, great lake view.. simply because it's so great, looking for a house near campus ground is a catastrophic nightmare. Nobody wants to move out and everybody wants to move in! 11:00AM - Stop the whaling!Why do Japanese need to kill hundreds of whales for their claimed research purposes? Surely they know that the whales they are hunting down are on the brink of extinction? For research purposes, doesn't it make more sense to keep the whale populations alive and striving so that our future generations will be able to continue the research and allow us to understand the different species of this sea mammal in greater light? What happened to high-technology methods such as satellite tracker? Aren't advances in technology supposed to assist us in refining our research methodology? What happened to long-term research? As to whether the carcasses of the whales really end up in research labs or on diners' plates as sashimi delicacies or blubber in industrial uses is still to be debated worldwide. In the name of research as a smokescreen for commercial whaling? Reckless killing of whales using harpoons is inhumane and I applaud activists and campaigners onboard Sea Shepherd and Greenpeace for fighting against such irrationale acts and raising international awareness against whaling. Sunday, December 23, 200710:36PM - MERRY X'MAS FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!X'mas is hereeeeeee..having a family party tomorrow night!!!!! I still have work till 4pm.. what the hell la.. everyone else can go home at 1pm or earlier and my bank only closes for the day at 4pm!!!!! Gotta collect the log cake on my way home and then cook up some stuff for the party......yay!!! Thursday, December 13, 20078:50PM - Work, work, work..Been working in a French investment bank..very tired everyday. First few days Friday, December 7, 20072:56PM - Dinner date with Xiang XiangHad dinner with Xiang Xiang, did some X'mas shopping.. Saw a gorgeous dress at Topshop, saw a to-die-for red Tod's bag, bought a pair of pretty sandals.. Starting work on Monday in a French Investment Bank.. i need to get some work clothes cause some of them are freaking tight.. hahaha but good news is i have lost 1.5kgs so far. I eat 2 small meals everyday..i try not to eat after 6pm. It is damn torturous at night when your tummy starts growling so i just try to soothe it with fat free milk before i sleep. Dieting is a very long, drawn out process.. :( I have another 3.5kgs more to go.. Sunday, December 2, 20071:18PM - Movies marathon!!!Out with Lindy and Huiyu, watched 2 movies in one day!!!! Damn shiok! Haven't watched movies for soooooo looooooooong!!!! Watched "Lust, Caution" and "2 Days in Paris".. both were great!!! "Lust, Caution" is a pretty heavy movie, sombre, tense and full of nudity but Tony Leung is damn sexy.. hahahaha. "2 Days in Paris" is a fantastic romantic comedy, the entire movie is in French and English! Reminds me of my Luc! Miss my baby so much! :( Saturday, December 1, 200712:12AM - it's official.. i am a whale.Weighed myself yesterday and i am a whale. It's official. My weighing scale tells me so.. going on a strict diet now. My darling said he'll love me no matter what.. baby, i'm La Baleine (whale) now, i hope your love is big enough for this! Je suis une tres grande baleine. (i don't if it's right.. haha either you or Daffy can correct me!)I need to eat like a whale, eat microscopic food! But in microscopic portions too!! Sob! Wednesday, November 28, 200710:47PM - He by the name of LucHe who makes me laugh 5:43PM - My lifetime love affair..Was trying to tidy up my room and many pairs of unfamiliar shoes which i have never known to exist under my nose came popping up one by one.. decided to take pictures of my shoes but gave up halfway.. too tiring. I wasn't even halfway through my collection..haha.. maybe one-third which adds to the fact that i have about 80 or 90 pairs of shoes???
